Ingredients

  • 1 container Kettle and Fire Original Chicken Bone Broth
  • 3/4 package Earthbound Farm Power Greens
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons fresh marjoram
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon collagen (optional)
  • 1 roasted Japanese Sweet Potato to thicken into more of a blended soup (optional)

Here’s a simple and deeply nourishing soup to shift your digestion from winter into spring. With rich organic broth from Kettle and Fire and nutritious organic Power Greens, we find that this soup has magical powers. It’s delicious and incredibly simple to make!

De-stem all fresh herbs, pulling with your fingers and/or kitchen scissors. Remove skin from ginger knob (we like to slice it and then get the remainder off with a spoon). (Note: it is really worth making this extra step happen, the drink will be much more bitter and dense if you leave stems and skin on.)

Heat broth on the stove until quite hot, but not boiling. As the broth heats, add the lemon juice, coconut oil, and peeled ginger root to the blender. Carefully pour hot broth over. Add the fresh herbs and Power Greens last in order to maintain their vibrant color. Blend on high speed until pale green and frothy.

Season to taste with salt and additional lemon juice if desired.
