And so it was. The inaugural OQ Farm Songwriters Festival curated by wonderful friend and musician Charlie Peacock came to pass. This has become what we hope to be a new trend in a creative landing for summer.
Three days, twenty-five musicians, and twenty-one original songs created on site in the sweet mix of talent incubated within the beauty and gift of the farm.
(These mixed together with the next generation talent of a few wonderful children, spouses and hard-working interns, and other friends who were able to join…all which made for fullness of time and fellowship).
Here indeed, the stage was set for good to happen, significant memory and story created, and encouragement of songwriters and their musical art made manifest.
The cup of gratitude overflows.
